Normalyze developed a Data Security Posture Management platform for finding and assessing sensitive data across cloud, SaaS, PaaS, multicloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. Its published materials describe discovery and classification of data stores, analysis of access and exposure, risk prioritization, and workflows to help teams remediate security issues. The platform was designed to scan data in place and provide visualizations of data relationships and potential attack paths. Proofpoint announced an agreement to acquire Normalyze in 2024, adding its DSPM technology to Proofpoint’s data security portfolio.
