Heatherwick Studio is a design practice working across buildings, public spaces, objects and infrastructure. Its team brings together architects, designers, makers, engineers and landscape architects, with studios and workshops supporting collaborative project development. The firm describes beginning projects by examining the needs and possibilities behind each brief, then testing ideas through design and making. Its portfolio includes cultural, civic, residential, workplace and urban projects, with an emphasis on human experience and places that engage the people who use them.
