FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) provides hands-on STEM and robotics programs for young people through schools, after-school programs, and community learning settings. Its age-based programs use themed challenges that involve activities such as robot design, coding, teamwork, and competition. Educators and volunteers can explore program levels and participation resources for their students. Program availability, local event schedules, registration requirements, and costs vary, so interested teams should consult FIRST’s current regional and program information.
