MakersPlace was a digital-art NFT marketplace and creator platform launched in 2018. Its official site now states that the company has shut down and that its marketplace is no longer operating, while also explaining that NFTs minted on MakersPlace contracts remain on-chain. Historical materials describe artist minting, curated digital-art releases, and a marketplace for collectors. This listing is therefore a record of the company’s former activity, not an indication that buyers or creators can currently use its marketplace. Users should consult the official shutdown notice for current guidance about legacy artwork and access.
