What does domain verification mean?
It means the account completed the DNS TXT or website text-file check for the specified domain and can manage the associated published company profile.
Does verification prove the company is legitimate or licensed?
No. It confirms control of a domain only. Visitors should independently check licensing, claims, products, services, and business practices.
Does verification guarantee search rankings?
No. Verification and the 500 popularity-vote bonus do not guarantee search engine rankings, directory position, traffic, or impressions.
Is verification the same as a paid subscription?
No. Verification is free. Standard and Premium subscriptions are optional monthly products with additional plan-specific limits.
What happens if my company is not listed yet?
Submit the company profile for review first. After publication, open the profile and request a claim to begin domain verification.
