Lufa Farms operates urban farms and an online grocery marketplace serving customers in and around Montreal. The company grows fresh vegetables in rooftop greenhouses and an indoor hydroponic farm, then offers produce and other grocery products through customizable delivery baskets and pickup options. Its website describes farms designed to bring production closer to city customers and outlines the company’s growing sites, crops, and delivery model. Lufa Farms also works with local food producers represented in its marketplace. The business combines controlled-environment agriculture with direct-to-consumer grocery distribution.
